“In what ways does your faith community currently embody the value of
Kingdom Expectation in your worship expressions? How are these
values reflected in your own life as a leader? “
My answer was as follows:
Kingdom EXPECTATION to Kingdom BELIEF
I BELIEVE Kingdom EXPECTATION is as much about faith as walking the life.. Walking the Christian life means embracing the whole package. Embracing all there is to God including Salvation, miracles, healing, life after death, peace and forgiveness. Believing that God has given us a purpose and created us in his own image and that God designed us wonderfully, Jeremiah 29:11 I alone know the plans for you, plans for prosperity and not disaster, plans for a future and hope.
Our #1 church value is “Loving God through a life-style of worship”. We as a community believe that worship is not only through music on a Sunday, but is all about a lifestyle of worship or an offering of every part of our lives to God. Choosing to worship with our whole lives in all our roles is faith building. When we allow God into every part of our lives how can we not EXPECT & BELIEVE that God’s Kingdom to not come in every part also!
When we pray the Lord’s prayer, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, I BELIEVE God is challenging us to not just EXPECT his Kingdom to come but to BELIEVE his Kingdom to come! One day God will create a new heaven and a new earth and there will be no crying, no pain.
